Consequently, the central question that embodies the problem of the study is what are the similarities and differences between the Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism, both NATO and the international coalition to fight terrorism? The significance of the study is embodied in the fact that it is based on the comparison between the Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism, in terms of origins and motives, with both NATO and the international coalition to fight ISIS. To achieve the goal of the study, the researcher has adopted the descriptive, comparative, and inductive approaches to achieve the goal of the study. The study concluded that the origins and motives of the Islamic military alliance to fight terrorism are different from the origins and motives of NATO and its international coalition to defeat ISIS.
